Gettysburg

We spent the last 2 days in Gettysburg, PA. I never liked history in school and I couldn't have really told you much about what happened in Gettysburg before this week but now! Wow...ask me anything!!! We got some package deal that included 7 different "attractions" that we spent 2 days seeing. In the middle of today I wondered just how many ways can you portray the same battle? We took a bus tour, saw videos, and witnessed multiple people made of wax who told us all about it!! One of our favorite quotes was from one of wax presidents who said, "Being President was, perhaps, the most honorable time of my life." Really? PERHAPS the most honorable time? Hmmm... I think it was John Adams, our 2nd President, who made that profound statement.

You can check out the pics through the link on the right. We did make our own fun in between "attractions" so there are some really crazy ones!

Tomorrow is Hershey so stay tuned!!
